The Mitsubishi Lancer has been tailored with aggressive and enthusiastic styling that hints at the motorsport origins of the Lancer. The overall sloping, wedge-shaped profile looks powerful and assertive, and is built with aerodynamic excellence in mind. The colour-coded door handles minimise distraction from the clean, sleek lines. And as befits the little brother of the Evolution series, body kit in the form of side air dams on the VR and VRX, and front air dam extension on the VRX, the Mitsubishi Lancer looks like it really means business. For both style and extra road grip, the VR comes with a rear lip spoiler fitted as standard, and the VRX has the razor-sharp looking sports spoiler. These sporty looks are emphasised even further by the 18” alloy wheels that come as standard on the VRX and as a dealer-fitted option on the ES and VR models. And the privacy glass on the VRX makes it look as if the car is wearing shades…
On the inside, the pleasure of your drive can be enhanced with ambient music from a first-class MP3-compatible CD/Radio system (1 disk capacity in the ES, 6 disks for the VR and VRX). The comfortable height and recline adjustable front seats (sports seats in the VRX) are complemented by the dark silver paint trim in the ES and VR variants, while the geometric check trim on the VRX is a unique touch. In the VR and VRX models, the interior is alive with accents of chrome and leather (e.g. on the steering wheel).
